MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Bidding on your favorite items just got a whole lot easier.
The website’s more than 5 million users can use the app to bid on and win high-quality gifts that can be given to friends and family during the holiday season.
DealDash’s iOS app is optimized for iOS 9 and allows users to login via their Facebook accounts. The company’s developers have been quick to improve the app, launching a 2.1 version that, so far, has garnered more than 100 reviews in the iTunes store at an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Comments from users on the app’s iTunes Store page range from “I was impressed with how much I was able to win,” and “I only have excellent things to say about Deal Dash.”
DealDash’s free Google Play Android app has enjoyed similar success, with nearly 80 percent of all reviews ranking at four or five stars.
One user named Erik Johnson wrote, “Tons of fun … this app is awesome,” while user Christine Grimmer wrote, “When I can’t be at my computer I can use my phone to bid on DealDash. Have won at least 50% of my (items) using this app. Love it and is easy to use.”
Screenshots of the Google Play app show a simple bidding interface that features a photo of the item being put up for auction, the item’s retail price, the current bid as well as the time remaining in the auction.
The expanded availability of DealDash’s no-reserve, auctions will no doubt attract new consumers to the company’s millions of users.
That growing community is evidence of how DealDash’s fair bidding system has caught on with consumers who don’t want to pay full price for items they know they can get for cheaper elsewhere.
According to the company’s “Our Team” page, the company began with a specific focus to provide their customers with a positive experience in which they can have fun bidding on items and also have the option of winning their bids back.
DealDash’s focus on the customer experience has set the company apart from other auction sites where bidders have a negative experience because the auction methodology isn’t made clear to them or because customer support is lacking.
DealDash continues to maintain its commitment to customer service. The company has made a point to give bidders insight into how auctions works through instructional videos, as well as offering tips about how to win auctions.
DealDash customers leave their auctions feeling like they’ve participated in a fair bidding process. Part of this philosophy of fairness lies in DealDash’s offer to refund bids for customers who didn’t win an auction. A bidder is allowed a refund of their bids if they purchase the auctioned item at DealDash’s “Buy It Now” price, which often is lower than what a bidder could find in a store.
The company has also enhanced the customer experience by providing feedback and resolving questions and inquiries left on the app’s Google Play page.
